Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

Incisions are made on the inner and under surface of the arm, most often in a zigzagged line.
The pattern of skin removal usually follows an elliptical or triangular shape.
Often some fat is suctioned at the same time. The surgical opening may run from the armpit to as low as the elbow. While the excess skin and fat is removed, the remaining skin is stretched and sutured into place.

Recovery

1 to 2 weeks.

Breast Augmentation (Enlargement)

Enhances the size of breasts using inflatable implants filled with saline. The procedure usually takes from 1-2 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia. It is most commonly performed as an outpatient procedure.
Side effects can include temporary soreness and pain, swelling, bruising, and temporary altered sensation for several weeks. Side effects are dependent on individual circumstances. This should be discussed with your surgeon during your consultation.

Recovery

1 to 2 weeks.

Breast Lift (Mastoplexy)

Raises and reshapes sagging breasts by removing excess skin and repositioning the remaining tissue and nipples.
The procedure usually takes from 1-3 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia. It is most commonly performed as an outpatient procedure.
Side effects can include temporary soreness and pain, swelling, bruising, and temporary altered sensation for several weeks. Side effects are dependent on individual circumstances. should be discussed with your surgeon during your consultation.

Recovery

Non-strenuous activity can be resumed after 5-7 days and strenuous activity after 6 weeks.

Breast Reconstruction

This surgery is designed to create a breast that matches your other in terms of size and shape. If you've had a masectomy, a more radical approach to this surgery may be needed. Tissue and skin may be removed from your back, or your surgeon may choose to move some of your abdominal muscles to your chest.

Recovery

5 days to 2 weeks.
You may experience circulation problems with your new skin and weakness where muscles and tissue have been removed.

Breast Reduction (Reduction Mamoplasty)

Back, neck and shoulder pain, headaches and poor posture can be the direct result of large breasts.
During surgery, an incision is made below the nipple towards the bottom of the breast. Excess tissue is removed and then the breast is lifted up. Usually the surgeon will place the nipple higher to make it sit more naturally on the breast.

Recovery

Stitches removed in 1 to 3 weeks, no exercise for 6 weeks.

Endermologie (Cellulite Treatment)

A non-surgical deep massage technique. Involves the use of an externally applied vacuum with 2 rotating rollers in the handpiece through which the vacuum is applied to the skin.
The technician rolls the vacuum over most parts of the outer skin that are not too curved. Leotard type garments are worn during the procedure to minimize bruising.

Recovery

Immediately.

Inverted Nipple

Your doctor will administer a local anesthetic as well as a sedative to help you relax. An incision will be made just around the base of the nipple on the areola.
The nipple and areola tissue is lifted from (but still connected to) the breast and stitched into a new, projecting shape utilizing a "purse-string" style of suturing (stitches). Because of the circular shape of the scar around the nipple, scar contracture will actually increase rather than decrease nipple projection. Medicated gauze is then applied to the area.

Recovery

2 to 3 days.

Liposuction

This procedure improves body shape by removing exercise-resistant fat deposits with a tube and vacuum device. It can be performed using the tumescent technique, in which targeted fat cells are infused with saline containing solution with a local anesthetic before liposuction to reduce postoperative bruising and swelling.
A special fat extractor (a thin hollow stainless steel tube) or cannula is inserted into the fatty areas between the skin and muscle, through small skin incisions. The extractor creates tiny tunnels, breaks up the fat cells, and loosens them so that they can be removed by a high pressure vacuum attached to the end of the cannula.
Common locations for liposuction include chin, cheeks, neck, upper arms, above breasts, abdomen, buttocks, hips, thighs, knees, calves and ankles.
This procedure is performed under local anesthesia or a combination of general and local.

Recovery

5 to 7 days.

LipoLiteŽ

Safely and effectively re-contours the skin's surface to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
This procedure involves using a laser beam to penetrate deeply into the skin, breaking down the fat and leading to weight loss.

Recovery

Immediately.

Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia)

Excess breast tissue can be removed to give a firmer, flatter chest.
The surgeon has two options: a small incision may be made under the nipple and excess tissue surgically excised, or liposuction performed through a similar incision at the edge of the nipple. Ultrasonic lipo has proven particularly effective in this procedure.

Recovery

1 to 2 weeks.

Penile Augmentation

Up to 6 centimetres can be added to the penis length using the latest surgical techniques. Thickness can be increased too.
Patient's own tissue is used to lengthen and thicken the penis.
There can be risks involved, including damage to erectile tissue, loss of feeling and function.

Recovery

1 to 2 weeks.

Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)

Abdominoplasty, or a tummy tuck, is a procedure that can reduce a protruding abdomen for a slimmer, trimmer appearance. Although a tummy tuck results in a more healthy appearance, keep in mind that another result is a permanent scar that, in some cases, can extend from hip to hip.
This procedure flattens the abdomen by removing excess fat and skin and tightens the muscles of the abdominal wall. An incision is made right above the pubic area from hipbone to hipbone. The navel is separated from surrounding tissue by a second incision. The surgeon then stitches the muscles underneath into a new, tighter position. Finally, the skin flap is stretched down, stiched into place and excess skin is trimmed away.
A mini-tummy tuck takes a smaller incision and does not require your navel to be moved.
A partial tummy tuck involves separating the skin between the incision and the navel, stretching the skin down, trimming away the excess and stitching it back into place.

Recovery

10 to 20 days. No exercise for 6 weeks.
